What are loyalty points?
We want to reward our users for using Mealtime.ie. Users earn Loyalty Points whenever they write a review for a restaurant or takeaway. These loyalty Points can be used to purchase vouchers, great prizes and meal deals for some of the best restaurants and takeaways in Ireland. To avail of the Loyalty Points scheme users must be registered with mealtime. The points you have accumulated will be listed under your profile.

Why would I leave a review?
Users are encouraged to leave reviews so that others can benefit from their advice. Be honest about your dining experience be it good, bad or in between. Tell us what you liked best and least. This information will help other users to make a decision on where to eat and help businesses to improve on any areas that are letting them down.

Are reviews moderated?
Yes, all reviews are moderated before they appear on Mealtime.ie. All reviews will be posted on mealtime unless they breach our review rules:

• If a user submits a review with profanity, threats or personal insults the review will not be posted and the users account may be terminated.
• Duplicated reviews will not be posted and points will not be rewarded.
• A review will not be posted if we feel a business might have written it as a sales pitch. The review will have to be authenticated by mealtime before it is posted.
• Don't name another business in the review, e.g. "Wouldn't recommend John Doe's restaurant I had a much nicer steak in Joe Blogg's around the corner".

Are bad reviews posted on Mealtime.ie?
All reviews will remain on the site once they have been approved by our moderators. Our moderators will decline a post if and only if it breaches the terms of our reviews. Even if it is a bad review about a business we will post it as long as it sticks to the terms outlined above.

How can a bad review be removed?
Businesses can not remove bad reviews. If they wish to respond to a review they can use the management response form.
